Jane Austin

Jane Austen was born December 16, 1775, to Rev. George Austen and the former Cassandra Leigh in Steventon, Hampshire, the seventh of eighter children. Like the characters in most of her novels, the Austens were a large family of sanitary lineage but no fortune. Her father make his substantial by his clergymans income by farming. In 1801, Rev. Austen retired and the family moved to Bath plausibly so that the even unmarried Jane and Cassandra might have a better chance of meeting a man that they could marry. Although she never married, Jane had several romantic lovers, the most serious with a Rev. Blackall who died perfectly just before they were to become formally engaged.Growing up, the Austen children lived in an butt of open learning.her father worked away in the rectory and in addition tried his hand at farming on the slope to earn more money for the growing family. Additionally, he would reward on memoriseing roles within the syndicate to outside children for pleonastic funds. The Austen children would all grow within this close-knit family with Jane herself forming a respectable bond with her father.When she was 8.
